Here is what they've done on purpose: The trial pop-up only becomes invisible when the user closes the window and then shows itself again based on a two-minute timer (or so). When Windows is shutting down and the MSN Winks process gets a notification to exit, the process checks the registry and c:\Windows for msnlogm.exe. Installing a large number of Winks into MSN Messenger 7 can cause your computer and MSN Messenger to become slow and sluggish, also because MSN Messenger 7 uses a lot of resources. With this tool you can quickly uninstall your Winks, even if you added too many and MSN Messenger has become so slow that you can not manually remove them from within MSN Messenger.
